Tao Climate is an Irish climate technology company building a planetary health platform that helps people understand environmental change, discover solutions and track progress, from the whole planet to individual places.
With Your Earth Watch, anyone can create a free account, draw an outline on a map and save one private area to explore through satellite observations. No specialist mapping knowledge is needed. Users can return to their saved area or delete it to monitor somewhere else.
The platform starts with places people recognise and carbon-removal projects they can explore.
Climate change is a huge problem but it's so abstract. Also 'carbon products' have been mostly shown to be greenwashing (at best). What about making the challenge easy to see, while making effective solutions easy to understand? We're delivering the trust and transparency infrastructure for carbon. Because Earth needs it, and so do we.
