Table Exporter is a privacy-first Chrome extension that exports HTML tables, merged-cell layouts, ARIA grids, CSS Grid data, and scrolling or virtualized tables to Excel (XLSX), CSV, TSV, Markdown, or the clipboard. Processing stays local in the browser, no uploads required.
Why I Built This
I built Table Exporter because copying real-world web tables into spreadsheets is still unreliable. Existing tools often break merged cells, miss virtualized rows, or upload sensitive page data. This extension preserves structure while keeping processing local and private.
