About This Launch
If your phone speaker sounds muffled after getting wet, SpeakerEject lets you play a 165 to 230 Hz sweep in your browser and compare the sound afterward. It also has speaker and headphone tests, downloadable WAV files, and guides for iPhone, Android, AirPods, and Apple Watch. The tone may move water near a speaker grille, but it cannot dry the phone or repair damage.
Why I Built This
A wet phone speaker is easy to panic over, and many sites promise an instant fix. We built SpeakerEject to offer a short tone, a listening check, and clear advice on when to stop trying the sound.
