Captain Calm is an independent website for UK dog owners dealing with canine anxiety. It publishes guides on separation anxiety, noise and firework fear, car anxiety and calming products, with citations to published research and vet bodies; breed guides; reviews of calming products sold in the UK; and 13 free tools, including a dog anxiety quiz, a calming product finder, a dog years calculator, a puppy weight predictor and L-theanine and melatonin dosage calculators. It also sells PDF training plans and has a companion iPhone app, Captain Calm for Dog Parents. The site earns affiliate commission on some product links. It is not a vet practice and does not give veterinary advice.
