About This Launch
Snapchat's My Data export stamps every Memory with the download date and keeps location in a JSON file photo apps ignore. Snapchat Memories Download opens the official ZIP in your browser, writes the original capture date and GPS into each photo and video, and can merge caption overlays back onto photos. No Snapchat login, no upload. Free for the first 15 photos a day; Pro is $19.99 one-time. Not affiliated with Snap Inc.
Why I Built This
I needed my own Memories to keep the original dates and map pins after exporting My Data, so I built a browser tool that rewrites the metadata from the ZIP without uploading files.
