About Routara
Routara is an OpenAI-compatible AI gateway for developers and teams that need access to multiple providers without maintaining separate SDK branches. It combines 767+ model entries, live model discovery, routing health checks, usage-based billing, structured web tools, and an open-source MCP server.
Why I built this
We built Routara after repeatedly seeing the same integration work duplicated across providers: different model identifiers, health behavior, billing rules, and client libraries. The goal is to keep one stable developer interface while making model choice and route health visible instead of hidden.
