We built PermitCore after repeatedly facing the same problem in our own software projects: adding licensing meant building and maintaining a second product, with its own backend, infrastructure, security, and support burden. We wanted a practical licensing service made by developers who understand that indie makers need to spend their time improving the product customers actually buy.
