Phone checks cover format, numbering plan and reserved fiction ranges such as UK 020 7946 0xxx and US 555-0100 to 0199. Email checks look at the domain: MX, Null MX, DNS and a match against 8,986 throwaway-provider domains. IP checks flag special-purpose, bogon and reserved ranges and read reverse DNS. Domain checks read A, MX, NS, SPF and DMARC. Each response gives a verdict and its evidence. Orisift does not check mailboxes, carriers or phone liveness.
