About This Launch
openTag is an open source AI coworker for Slack and Lark. Mention it in a thread and it runs a coding agent on your own Mac or Linux computer, then replies in the thread. It supports Claude Code, Codex and Pi, and Docker self-hosting is offered. The source is licensed under Apache 2.0 and is on GitHub at first-tree-ai/opentag.
openTag is free to use, and you pay your own AI provider for the models. Teams and Discord support are on the roadmap.

openTag lets teams hand work to a coding agent from the chat tools they already use, with the choice of agent left to them.
