About This Launch
OMOPHub is a hosted API for searching and mapping medical vocabularies, aimed at healthcare data teams. It claims 11M+ concepts across 120+ vocabularies, including SNOMED CT, ICD-10, LOINC and RxNorm. SDKs are available for Python, R and TypeScript/Node, and a documented MCP server exposes tools such as search_concepts, get_concept, map_concept and fhir_resolve for AI agents.
The free plan includes 3,000 API calls per month with full API access. Licensed vocabularies such as CPT and MedDRA are not available. OMOPHub is not affiliated with OHDSI or ATHENA.
Why I Built This
OMOPHub was started to simplify developer access to OMOP vocabularies through a single API.
