About This Launch
Metadataless is a free browser tool that views and removes hidden metadata from photos, documents and videos: EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, ICC profiles, PDF info fields and MP4/MOV user-data boxes. Files are never uploaded, no account is needed, and it works offline after the page loads.
Use is unlimited, with 1 to 20 files per batch and 50 MB maximum each. HEIC and TIFF files can be inspected but not safely cleaned. It does not remove pixel-level watermarks such as SynthID, and it does not affect copies you have already posted.
Why I Built This
Photos and documents often carry hidden EXIF, GPS, XMP and IPTC data. Metadataless was built so anyone can inspect and strip that metadata in the browser, with no sign-up.
