Remove AI Meta reads an image's metadata, lets you clear the layers you choose, and rescans the file so you can compare before and after. There is an inspect-only mode, plus three cleaning modes: AI provenance (C2PA / AI metadata), Privacy EXIF / GPS, and All metadata. Cleaning works on JPEG, PNG and WebP files.

Files are processed in the browser tab, the photo is not uploaded, and no account is required. It does not change pixels or remove pixel-level watermarks such as SynthID, and a platform may still label a cleaned file. The page offers 1 free image on this browser, and Pro is a one-time payment with Apple Pay accepted. An MCP endpoint is also available.

Photos and generated images often carry location and provenance records people do not know are there. This tool makes it quick to inspect an image, clear the right layer, and verify the result.
