DiffSee is a free browser-based tool for comparing two versions of text. Paste text or open local files to see what was added, removed, or changed, then review edits in context. Smart, Word, and Character modes make it easier to understand both broad revisions and small details. Useful for documents, policies, product copy, translations, code, JSON, configuration, logs, and QA reviews. Comparison runs locally in the browser, document text is not uploaded, and no account is required.

I built DiffSee because traditional red-and-green diffs can show that text changed without making the surrounding document easy to follow. I wanted a simple tool that lets people compare two versions visually, inspect each change in context, and keep document text in the browser. I am especially interested in feedback from developers, QA testers, writers, and technical teams.
