About This Launch
CompareTexts is a free browser-based tool for reviewing changes between two pieces of text. It highlights line and character differences side by side, supports ignoring case or whitespace, and lets users copy a summary or unified diff and download a patch. It is useful for drafts, code, requirements and release notes. Comparison processing happens on your device, with no account or text upload required.
Why I Built This
The project was built to make it quick and clear to compare drafts, product requirements and release notes without heavy tooling. Local browser processing lets users review changes without uploading their text.
