CodeGuard AI is a self-hosted AI code reviewer for GitHub Pull Requests, built with Java 17 and Spring Boot. Connect GitHub, choose OpenAI, Gemini, or Ollama, and analyze PRs for bugs, security issues, performance problems, and best-practice violations. The complete source code can be customized and self-hosted.
Why I Built This
I built CodeGuard AI because I wanted more control over the AI code-review workflow instead of relying entirely on a hosted review service. The project provides a customizable Spring Boot foundation for connecting GitHub Pull Requests with AI providers and turning AI output into structured code-review findings.
