About Causeway
Causeway is a standalone Rust MCP server that drives the Chromium browser you already use through Chrome DevTools Protocol. Your AI can navigate, read, click, type, fill forms, inspect pages, capture screenshots, download files, save PDFs, and run JavaScript without Node or Python.
Why I built this
We built Causeway so an AI can act through the real Chromium browser a person already uses. It gives the AI direct browser control while keeping the server local, open source, and useful across the web work that people actually need done.
