CarHistory

CarHistory is a UK site where you enter a registration to see a vehicle's MOT history from DVSA records, covering every MOT since 2005. It also has model pages with pass rates and faults, rankings, guides and data downloads.

The MOT history check is free and needs no account, and the data downloads are free. The site mentions paid vehicle checks (finance, write-offs, stolen, plate changes) with no prices shown, and has an affiliate disclosure page. It carries a clear notice that it is not affiliated with DVSA, GOV.UK or car manufacturers.
