About This Launch
bop is a playful desktop toy for Mac and Windows. A ball lives above your apps, ready to pull, toss, bounce and juggle whenever you feel like a little play break. Choose from eleven balls with different textures, physics and sounds, adjust the settings and beat your own records.
The full desktop app is a one-time purchase of $9.99, with one license covering two computers. It needs macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, or 64-bit Windows 10 (2004 or later) or Windows 11. A free interactive browser demo with one ball is at bop.toys.
Why I Built This
The idea behind bop is simple: bring a small, satisfying moment of play to the desktop without opening a separate game. A ball above your apps is always close at hand for a quick toss while you wait or take a break.
