About This Launch
Marea is a slow, cozy web game. Adopt a companion from the Tide, Ember or Gale clan, chat with them at home, and send them on trips. They mail back AI-drawn postcards and a souvenir for your album. There is no score and no fail state, only mail to look forward to. You start with 50 stamps, and it runs right in your browser with no download.
Why I Built This
I wanted a game that asks for nothing. Most games want your attention every minute; I wanted something you check in on, then forget, until a little postcard shows up. I built Marea solo in about two weeks, mostly with AI coding tools, and I am now looking for players who enjoy slow, gentle games.
