About This Launch
WorkbookDiff compares two .xlsx workbook versions cell by cell in the browser. It reports value and stored formula changes, sheet visibility changes and hidden rows or columns, with filters and a free CSV export. Files stay in browser memory and are not uploaded. It needs the same sheet names and cell positions and does not compare formatting, charts, pivots or macros.
Why I Built This
It offers a narrower option for reviewing two aligned workbook versions when Microsoft's comparison tools are not available, such as on Mac.
