WhisperWeb is a free web app that turns audio and video into text and subtitles using the open-source Whisper model, which runs locally in your browser. Files and transcripts are processed on your device with no upload and no signup. You can edit text and timings, then export TXT, SRT, or VTT, with files up to 200 MB or 20 minutes. It is not affiliated with OpenAI.
