Volt AI is a free, open-source Python assistant for Windows 10 and 11, in the style of a personal Jarvis. You talk to it in plain English or by voice, and it can search the web, read pages, run tasks and work with files on your computer.
It runs on the Groq API, so you bring a free Groq API key, and Python 3.10 or later is required. Camera, screen and email features are off by default, and when used, camera and screen images are sent to Groq for processing. It can run commands and edit files without asking first, so set it up with care. The code is MIT licensed.

Jackson wanted an AI agent like Claude Code or Jarvis that he could run every day without paying for it. He built one in Python on Groq's free tier, kept adding tools, and made it public so anyone can use it.
