About This Launch
Voice Prompter is a free browser teleprompter for creators, teachers and presenters. Paste a script and choose voice follow, auto-scroll or manual reading. In supported desktop browsers, a floating script window sits beside slides or recording software. Text size, line spacing and mirror text are adjustable. Scripts stay in this browser and can be exported as text. Voice recognition depends on the browser service and may send audio to that provider. No signup or payment is required.
Why I Built This
The project addresses a practical speaking task: keeping prepared words nearby while recording a video or presenting slides, with a choice of reading modes and no account setup.
