TranscriptJet turns videos into transcripts for free. Paste a public YouTube link and get a clean transcript you can search, edit and export as TXT. SRT and VTT subtitle export is available when reliable timing data exists. Guests get 2 requests per 24 hours. It is useful for students, researchers, writers and creators who need to quote, study or caption video content quickly.
Why I Built This
Getting a usable transcript out of a video usually meant copying messy auto-captions by hand or paying for heavy tools. I wanted a fast, simple way to get an editable transcript and subtitle files in seconds.
