The Podcast App is a player-first podcast app for iOS and Android. Play audio or video in one player, download for offline, and pick up where you left off. The app does not insert banner or audio ads into the core player. On supported shows, Ad-Skip jumps to the end of a known ad break with one tap (never automatic). Optional tools like transcripts and Podcast Brain are there when you want them; the core player works without them.
I built The Podcast App after Google Podcasts shut down because I could not find a player I liked. Layout and everyday feel stay close to Google Podcasts, with updates that keep it modern: audio+video in one place, free offline downloads, and one-tap Ad-Skip on supported shows. No app-inserted ads in the core player.
