ShyVault is a private vault for photos, videos and documents on iPhone, opened by drawing a pattern on a 5x5 grid. It is coming soon to the App Store. The developer describes the design as AES-256 encryption with a key derived from your pattern using Argon2id and the Secure Enclave. The website also has five free browser tools, including a metadata remover and PDF redaction.

Free is $0 with 3 vaults, 100 photos and 10 videos in total. Paid options are Weekly $1.99, Monthly $5.99, Yearly $19.99 (7-day free trial), Lifetime $39.99, Family yearly $49.99 and Family lifetime $99.99. Optional iPad sync is a Pro feature.

Most vault apps ask for an account or keep something on a server. ShyVault is built around the opposite idea: the only key is a pattern, and there is no account at all.
