I got a PCN and spent an evening working out who issued it, what the deadline was, and how to word the challenge. The information exists on GOV.UK and council sites but it is scattered, and the paid appeal services charge a lot for what is basically a letter. I built the thing I wanted that night: photograph the ticket, get a letter, print it. Then I added the mileage log and the late-payment interest calculator because I needed those too for my own invoicing.
