About This Launch
PureMIDI is a browser MIDI editor and audio-to-MIDI converter. Producers and musicians upload audio, video or sheet music, preview a draft, and export editable MIDI (.mid). MusicXML can be exported from the editor. Sheet music input (MusicXML, MXL, PDF and image scores) is marked Beta.
A free account gets a preview of up to 30 seconds for eligible audio, up to 25 MB. Full conversion uses credits sold as one-time packs, not a subscription: $4.99 for 30, $9.99 for 100, $19.99 for 300. Only successful conversions use credits.
Why I Built This
Musicians and producers need a way to turn a recording or a score into editable MIDI without installing a DAW first. PureMIDI was built for that job, with a browser piano-roll editor included.
