PixWipe is a free portable Windows 10/11 app, with matching browser tools, that inspects and then strips EXIF and GPS data from photos, blanks author names in PDF and Office files, fixes Google Takeout dates and converts WebP and HEIC files locally. It is one 4.8 MB EXE with no installer, no ads and no telemetry, and the SHA-256 checksum is published. Windows SmartScreen may warn because the build is not code-signed yet.
Photos I shared leaked location data, and the existing tools were paid, cloud-based or bloated. I wanted one small portable EXE that does it locally on my own PC, so I built PixWipe and published its SHA-256 so anyone can verify what they run.
