I started building PhotoTextEdit because I kept running into a simple but annoying problem: sometimes I only wanted to change a few words in an existing image, but I no longer had the original design file. Using Photoshop or recreating the whole image felt like overkill for such a small edit. I wanted something much simpler: upload the image, replace the text, and keep the original font, style, perspective, lighting, and background as consistent as possible. That frustration became PhotoTextEdit: a tool for making small text changes to finished images without rebuilding the entire design.
