PDF Metadata Remover is a free browser tool that shows and clears common PDF document properties without uploading the file. Open one PDF or several, review fields such as author, title, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date, and modification date, then download a cleaned copy. Batch mode can clean multiple PDFs and download them together as a ZIP.
Cleaning targets hidden descriptive metadata and is not a redaction tool: visible text, images, layout, comments, annotations, and signatures are left as they are. Processing happens locally in the browser. There is no account, no signup, and no charge. Results can vary if a PDF is encrypted or contains nonstandard embedded metadata.
PDFs often carry author, title, creator, and date fields that are easy to miss before sharing. This tool was built so those common properties can be inspected and removed on the device, in the browser, with no upload and no account. It produces a cleaned copy and does not claim to edit or redact the visible document.
