Particle Life Simulator is a browser-based sandbox for exploring how simple rules between particles produce evolving colonies and emergent patterns. Pick a preset (Bloom, Orbit, Cells or Swarm), adjust particle count, motion, force strength and damping, and disturb the colony by clicking, dragging or touching. You can pause, reset, randomize, go full screen and share your setup through a config link.

The V1 simulator is free and runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, with no account and no download. The main simulator is 2D, and a separate 3D version lives on its own page.

I love how simple rules between particles create lifelike emergent behavior, and wanted anyone to be able to explore it in the browser without installing anything.
