OpenMusic started with a simple idea: music should be easier to enjoy. I wanted an Android app where I could search for music, listen in the background, watch music videos, follow lyrics, save my favorite songs, and manage playlists without constantly switching between different apps. That idea eventually became OpenMusic. Some of you may have seen the original SimpMusic project before. OpenMusic continues that journey with a new name, a refreshed experience, and a focus on making music and video discovery feel simple and convenient. It is still an evolving project, and I am continuing to improve it based on real user feedback.
