Notch Revenue is a native macOS menu-bar app that shows your Stripe today and month revenue in the MacBook notch, across one or more Stripe accounts. It uses a restricted read-only Stripe key stored in macOS Keychain, and the page says revenue does not pass through the company's servers. Activation and updates do contact the company's service separately.
Sync runs at launch and about every two hours, and pauses while the Mac sleeps or the app is closed. It celebrates when a sync finds a new payment, but payments found on first connection do not trigger celebrations. Revenue is shown in settlement currency, before fees and refunds. Pricing is regularly US$19.99, pay once, license activation required, and you keep the current major version forever. Change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable. It needs macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon only, with no Intel, Windows or phone support. PayPal and Creem support are planned, with no promised release date.
Indie founders check Stripe all day, so Notch Revenue was built to keep today's and this month's revenue visible in the notch without opening a dashboard.
