About This Launch
Mortgage Tools by Jenny is a set of free Canadian mortgage calculators: payments, affordability, CMHC insurance, land transfer tax, renewal and refinance. The same tools are available as a remote MCP server so AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can run Canadian mortgage math, and the project is open source on GitHub. The calculators give estimates and are not mortgage advice.
Why I Built This
As a mortgage agent in Burlington, Ontario, I kept seeing clients and AI chatbots get Canadian mortgage math wrong (US rules, no CMHC, wrong land transfer tax). I built free, accurate calculators and exposed them as an MCP server so anyone can use them.
