About This Launch
Mazelingo is a web reader for Japanese speakers who want to read more English. Paste any Japanese text, such as a news article, blog post or your own notes, and Mazelingo mixes English sentences into it. You choose the amount of English (20%, 40%, 60% or 80%) and the difficulty (easy or standard) separately. Tap an English sentence to see the original Japanese.
Why I Built This
Reading only in English is tiring; reading parallel translations is slow. Mazelingo sits in between: it keeps part of your Japanese text and turns the rest into English, so the surrounding Japanese gives context for each English sentence.
