About MapGrid
MapGrid is a national mapping and GIS platform for property intelligence, environmental risk analysis, and land-development decisions. It combines regulatory overlays, parcel data across 18 states and DC, EPA and state environmental records, tax-sale tracking, ASTM E1527-21 radius reports, and a net buildable calculator. Property investors, environmental consultants, developers, and planners can use the interactive map to screen sites, identify constraints, and prioritize due diligence. A free Explorer is available, with paid plans for deeper analysis and reporting.
Why I built this
MapGrid was built to make fragmented public property and environmental data easier to use during early site research. Instead of switching between state GIS portals, regulatory databases, parcel viewers, and tax-sale sources, users can start with one map and move from a broad screen to documented due diligence. The product is designed for practical decisions: finding parcels, understanding environmental context, estimating buildable potential, and knowing which sites deserve a closer look.
