About This Launch
InkOut PDF is a browser-based PDF redaction tool. Redacted pages are flattened to images, and an export check scans the output for the covered text. The page says files are 'never uploaded'.
Files up to 5 pages with manual boxes are free. Pro costs $4.99 for 24 hours, $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and adds unlimited pages, keyword redaction and multiple files.
Why I Built This
Many PDF redaction tools only draw a black box over text that is still there underneath. The InkOut team wanted a tool that actually removes it and then verifies the result.
