IcyZip pairs two browsers through a QR code or link so you can move live text or one file between a phone, tablet, or computer without creating an account or installing an app. Text and file bytes are encrypted in the browsers before the server relays ciphertext. The service still sees connection metadata and file-offer details such as filename, type, size, and timing. It is an internet-based one-file handoff tool, not offline/LAN transfer, cloud storage, folder sync, or background clipboard integration.

I built IcyZip to remove friction from the common moment when text or one file is on the wrong device. Existing workflows often require an account, an app install, a cloud-storage step, or sending content to yourself. I wanted a focused browser tool that opens quickly by QR code, preserves the simple one-file workflow, and states its encryption and metadata limits precisely.
