Harku turns public YouTube links into clean, timestamped transcripts without requiring an account. It supports captions in more than 100 languages and exports TXT, SRT, or VTT, helping creators, researchers, students, and accessibility teams quote, study, repurpose, and subtitle long-form video faster.

Why I Built This
I built Harku because extracting useful text and subtitle files from a long YouTube video was still slower than it should be. The goal was a focused tool that works from a URL, preserves timestamps, and lets people export the result without an installation or signup.
