About This Launch
Gesture Synth Lab is a free browser instrument that lets anyone play music using hand gestures, on-screen chord pads, or keyboard keys. Optional camera tracking maps raised fingers to chords and hand height to tone. Users can choose a key, scale, sound, and volume, then record a short clip locally. It works without installation or an account, and the camera is optional.
Why I Built This
Gesture Synth Lab was built to make hands-on music exploration accessible in a browser. It brings chord playing, expressive tone control, and short local recordings into one simple experience, with or without a camera.
