About This Launch
Free Model is a web directory of free AI models and free model APIs. Each listing shows the model ID, such as openai/gpt-oss-20b:free, along with the context window, supported inputs and provider details. It includes search, a guide and detail pages, and examples route through OpenRouter.
Browsing the directory needs no payment, and the site lists no pricing. It notes that free access can still depend on an account, API key, quota or rate limit.
Why I Built This
Free Model is a public directory built to make free AI models and free model APIs easier to find, with model IDs, context limits and provider details in one place.
