About This Launch
FocusJar is a macOS system-level website blocker. Set a focus timer and your own unlock fee, so quitting early has real friction. Practice sessions first, then $9.99/year. It blocks websites, not apps, and was built by Aron Rotteveel after soft blockers kept losing.
Why I Built This
Soft blockers kept losing to “just this once.” I wanted quitting to cost something I chose while clear-headed.
