About This Launch
Excerpt is a browser extension for Chrome (Chrome Web Store) and Edge (Add-ons). Select parts of ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini chats, or any webpage, keep them in a local searchable library, and export to PDF or Markdown. No account is required.
Free includes up to 100 clippings and 5 tags. Pro is $29 one-time, bought inside the extension, and adds an unlimited library and backup. Cloud sync may appear later as a separate product and is not available now. Clearing site data removes the local library.
Why I Built This
AI chats and web pages are hard to keep as a clean private document. Excerpt lets you select only the text you want and store it in a local library, with no account.
