About This Launch
EU Company Verifier is a Chrome extension that checks EU VAT numbers through the VIES system, covering all 27 member states, without leaving the browser. It is built for freelancers and finance teams who invoice across the EU.
It also looks up company registry data for Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands, taken from national registers. The Netherlands needs your own KVK API key. The free plan includes 10 lookups a month, and Pro is EUR 7 a month. It is listed on the Chrome Web Store.
Why I Built This
Freelancers and finance teams who invoice across the EU constantly need to check VAT numbers on the official VIES system. Alexis built a Chrome extension so they can do it without leaving the browser.
