EditXLSX (Edit Excel Online) is a browser office editor built around a WASM OpenXML engine. Open real .xlsx workbooks in the tab with formulas, multi-sheet references, and native fidelity, no desktop install. The same suite covers Word (WYSIWYG .docx) and PowerPoint (16:9 text and shape tweaks). PDF fill & sign is coming soon. Supported formats today: XLSX, DOCX, PPTX, PDF, CSV.

Sign-in is needed only for cloud storage. Free accounts keep up to 10 files in the This-device library; editing runs in the browser, and local mode does not upload files for editing. After the editor is cached, you can keep working offline on local files. Pro unlocks Cloud storage (up to 1000 files per library); Pro+ removes the file caps.

EditXLSX is built for zero-install everyday edits on Chromebooks, locked laptops, and shared workstations, budgets, drafts, formula checks, and multi-sheet audits with a clear choice between local and cloud libraries. It is not a full Excel replacement: no VBA, heavy Power Query, or realtime multiplayer collaboration. For those workloads, use desktop Excel or Google Sheets.

Pricing: Freemium, Free (10 local files); Pro $5/mo or $42/yr; Pro+ $10/mo or $84/yr.

Dr. Ray Calloway built EditXLSX for zero-install everyday Excel edits in the browser (local or Cloud), not a full VBA/Power Query replacement.
