DocAPI is a hosted API that takes MAWB and HAWB air waybills (PDFs, scans or phone photos) and returns structured JSON in one schema. It checks the IATA Mod-7 digit on the 11-digit AWB number, checks that chargeable_kg is at least gross_kg, and sets needs_review and per-field confidence. Call it with a multipart POST to /v1/extract/awb using a Bearer key, or try the playground and docs.
Free: 100 per month, no card required. Pay as you go is $0.12 per AWB after the free quota with no monthly minimum, and credit packs start at $12 for 100 docs and $50 for 500 docs, bought through Creem. Free-tier cold starts can take 30 to 60 seconds, production SLAs are TBD, and courier labels, ocean bills of lading and ASNs are out of scope.
Air waybills are still messy documents, and DocAPI was built to turn MAWB and HAWB files into validated JSON so logistics developers do not have to hand-parse them.
