The frustration was simple: exchange rate data was either locked behind enterprise contracts, hidden in clunky bank portals, or stale by the time you could use it. So we built the API we wished existed: one clean JSON endpoint, real-time and historical rates for every major world currency, straightforward documentation, and a free tier so any developer could start without a sales call. Today it powers currency conversion for e-commerce checkouts, invoicing tools, expense trackers, and fintech products worldwide, still with that free entry point.
