CostRift helps businesses compare old and new supplier price lists in CSV or XLSX and quickly understand what changed. It detects price increases and decreases, new and removed SKUs, rows that need review, and how supplier cost changes affect margins. When selling prices are included, it also calculates the target selling price needed to preserve the previous margin. Supplier files are processed locally in the browser rather than uploaded to CostRift servers.
I built CostRift after realizing that comparing supplier price updates is often much more than a simple spreadsheet diff. Businesses need to understand which costs changed, which products were added or removed, and whether those changes put their margins at risk. I wanted to turn that repetitive manual workflow into something faster and easier to review.
