About This Launch
CO2-Kostenaufteilung is a free German calculator for splitting CO2 costs between landlord and tenant, with no signup and an explanation of the rounding in section 5. A paid PDF report costs EUR 14.90 per building or flat and arrives by email within 24 hours. Costs are treated as net, and the tool assumes 55 EUR per tonne when no cost figure is given.
Why I Built This
Landlords in Germany have to show the CO2 split in the heating cost statement. This calculator explains the tier rounding and gives a clear result.
